ABOUT THE FLIGHT
You'll start in the air on final approach to runway 19 at Bremerton National Airport (KPWT). In Part 1, you will fly through hoops drawn by Flight Simulator to help you descend and fly to the runway. In Part 2 you will use the Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) to help you determine your glide path. In both lessons, you will learn to flare the airplane above the runway and brake to a stop once on the runway.

FLIGHT CRITERIA
For Part 1, you will be asked to stay within the hoops and raise the nose to 10 degrees nose up pitch when instructed to flare.
For Part 2, you will be asked to maintain airspeed no more than 10 knots above and no less than 5 knots below your assigned approach speed. You'll be asked to raise the nose to 10 degrees nose up pitch when instructed to flare.
For both lessons, you must land on, and come to a complete stop on, the runway.
